Indecision

His object of affections, the lady with a moonlit grace,

with an aura of mystique delight.

The other had phantom of clouds in her eyes, moist with love

and candor much bright.

Falling to shenanigans was an enormous vice

He made promises to both, could never make a choice.

Springs flew, summers passed, winters unfurled day by day.

A capital conundrum he was trapped in, could not find a way.

Hiding peals of laughter behind a surreptitious grin,

Nature smirked at the splendour of his sin.
